STANLEY: OWNER LAWS ARE ‘FAILING THE FANS’

MORECAMBE legend Craig Stanley says regulations governing ownership of football clubs must be tightened up, insisting the authorities are “failing the fans”.
Stanley was part of the Shrimps’ side which won promotion to the EFL in 2006-07 and says the current state of the club has left him both heartbroken and angry.
“As an ex-player, I’m looking from afar and I’m annoyed,” Stanley, who spent five years at Christie Park and is now first-team coach at Winchester City, told The NLP.
