STUART FLEETWOOD is only too happy to pull on his goalscoring boots again for hometown club Newent Town – even if he’s had to borrow his son’s shinpads!
The 39-year-old former Hereford, Forest Green Rovers, Luton, Eastleigh and Sutton striker has signed for the Hellenic League Division One Daffs.
It’s a return to his roots for Fleetwood, who left his role as Swindon Supermarine head coach earlier in the summer, having played for the club in his youth where he was first spotted by Cardiff City.
