DAGENHAM & Redbridge’s poor start to the season continued as they fell 2-1away to Hampton & Richmond.
The match initially was a back-and-forth affair with plenty of long balls while the sides cancelled one another out.
The visitors came into the game after 15 minutes, building pressure from corners and set-pieces, and it eventually culminated in an offside goal.
The second half followed much the same pattern but it was the home side who struck first against the run of play.
