JERSEY Bulls’ first home game in the Isthmian League ended all square when VCD Athletic cancelled their out first-half goal after the break at Springfield Stadium.
The Islanders had VCD on the back foot as enterprising play from Rai Dos Santos, Miguel Carvalho and Jack Lumsden caused problems.
From a rare Athletic attack, Pierce Roche cut out a dangerous cross, but, after 22 minutes, Jay Giles found Lumsden, who beat Frankie Leonard to open the scoring.
