DEBUTANT Harvey Saunders secured a goal and assist within six minutes of coming on as his new side Eastleigh beat a youthful Altrincham.
Phil Parkinson’s side opened the scoring when Nick Townsend could only parry an effort from the edge of the box by Isaac Marriott, with talisman James Gale on hand to leap onto the parried shot and fire it in off the crossbar.
