Ricay made to wait to see off plucky Rovers

TWO late goals finally saw off a spirited Barton Rovers side and ensured Billericay Town coasted through to the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Ricay started well against their Step 4 vistors with Matt Johnson seeing an early header blocked by keeper Ben Heath.
Heath then made a fine low save from Troy Howard after good work from Tyrell Miller-Rodney, but the opening goal wasn’t long in coming – the ball breaking to Elliott Long, who played in Howard to score on 19 minutes.
