■ SUBSTITUTE Leon Burke struck in the dying minutes to give Northern League outfit Newcastle Blue Star an FA Cup derby victory over higher-ranked visitors Heaton Stannington.
Burke struck a low shot past Stan keeper Lewis Brass from close range at the back post after 86 minutes to settle a hard fought tie on Tyneside.
Heaton’s Dan Capewell headed on a Dan Stephenson corner on the half hour, only for Konner Lamb to then fail to capitalise on an error from keeper Dan Lister.
