THE largest crowd of the season gathered at the Dovecote for Shepshed Dynamo’s second qualifying round showdown with Stamford AFC.
The away side sat bottom of the Southern Premier League while the hosts went into the game confident after a 3-1 win over St Neots in midweek.
A tense first half produced no goals but the second didn’t disappoint as the away side fired two quick finishes to take the tie.
