HARVEY Smith struck with the final kick to give Chorley a dramatic win.
The Magpies hit the front after just seven minutes when Macclesfield captain Lewis Fensome handled inside the area. Craig Hewitt converted the penalty, sending goalkeeper Max Dearnley, once on loan at the Chorley, the wrong way.
Macclesfield’s Danny Elliott twice had the ball in the net, but both efforts were ruled out for offside; the second of which, not without controversy as the Silkmen felt it should have stood – the ball deflecting off Warren Clarke...
