ENFIELD Town hadn’t won at home, visitors Chippenham hadn’t triumphed on the road. Something therefore had to give and it was the home side who deservedly came out on top.
Once again, Town’s defence – one of the meanest in the division – looked assured and accomplished. If only they could convert a better ratio of chances at the other end.
