■ REAL Bedford made sure league form held up as they reached the first round proper by beating Stamford.
Midway through the first half, Pirates striker Archie Jones was quickly shut down by goalkeeper Nykah Liburd-Hines, but recovered faster to nod the loose ball home.
Eight minutes before the break, the Daniels levelled matters – Fletcher Toll beating Tyler McGregor to the ball and heading home.
Real regained the lead early in the second half with a low shot from Josh Allen, firing past Liburd-Hines from an acute angle.
