STANWAY and Grays could not be separated in a hard-fought draw.
The visitors struggled to come to terms with Stanway’s physical style of play and the midfield was a real battleground.
Sam Bantick brought the first save of the day from home keeper Joshua Blunkell, who got down well to his right.
But it was no surprise when Stanway opened the scoring midway through the half, a Conor Hubble corner headed in at the near post by Joe Turpin.
