■ WALTHAMSTOW came from a goal down to beat Downham in a game delayed by the visiting team being stuck in traffic on a closed M11.
Downham took the lead through Charlie Royle but Walthamstow equalised through new signing Joe Ellul. 
The second half was largely one way traffic in favour of the home team with them hitting the post and Ellul having a second ruled out for offside.
The game was settled when Downham keeper Briggs weakly punched the ball into his own net from an Elliot long throw.
