■ MONEYFIELDS secured a hard-fought win over Horndean at The John Jenkins Stadium.
Simba Mlambo struck in the seventh minute, rising well to head home Ciaran Martin’s inviting cross and give the hosts the perfect start.
The home side pushed for a second, and just before the break, Horndean keeper Myles Bowman produced a fine save to keep out James Franklyn’s powerful long-range effort.
Horndean responded well after the interval and came agonisingly close to equalising nine minutes into the second half.
