RADCLIFFE were left wondering what went wrong.
In a game where both sides were dragged into silly challenges throughout, neither side had too many chances.
Radcliffe had the ball in the net early on through Jordan Hulme, who tapped the ball home from six yards out after some great play by Matt Sargent down the right-hand side only for the linesman to have his flag up.
The game began to boil over following a series of late challenges from both sides in the 35th minute.
