JOHN Rooney is relishing the challenges of a debut season in management at Macclesfield – and now they’re in with a shot at the FA Cup third round!
If Robbie Savage’s boots were not big enough to fill, Rooney has had to contend with issues both on and off the pitch at the Leasing.com Stadium.
Just last week, striker Sean Etakulu became the fourth Silk-men player to leave Moss Rose to be reunited with old boss Savage at Forest Green Rovers.
