Dan Trickett-Smith’s early second half goal was enough for Hednesford Town to edge out visitors Cleethorpes Town – and take top spot in the NPL Premier.

The Pitmen had a decent chance in the tenth minute when Trickett-Smith fired well over from Chris Hussey’s free-kick before Cleethorpes' skipper Brad Abbott shot narrowly wide.
