Morecambe vs Boston United

Kick-off at 12:30pm GMT on Saturday, 6 December 2025

Morecambe host Boston United in the early kick-off, with both teams at the wrong end of the league table and separated by four points.

The home side reigned victorious in the reverse fixture in late October by inflicting a 4-0 hammering on their opponent.

Despite a recent upturn in form, Ashvir Singh Johal’s side suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat away to Braintree Town last weekend to leave them in 22nd and three points off safety.

The Pilgrims, on the other hand, are on a wretched run of five games without a win after a 2-1 defeat to Yeovil Town.

Graham Coughlan’s men sit 18th in the table, but only two points above the relegation zone.

Rochdale vs Southend United

Kick off at 3pm GMT on Saturday, 6 December 2025

With Carlisle in cup action, Dale will be aiming to stretch their lead at the top of the table.

Jim McNulty’s side comfortably defeated Eastleigh 2-0 last weekend and have two games in hand on the chasing pack.

As for Southend, they fell to a late 2-1 loss to Forest Green Rovers despite leading at The New Lawn Stadium.

The Shrimpers remain in the play-off places in seventh position, but have Hartlepool United breathing down their neck in solid form and only two points behind.

Scunthorpe United vs Tamworth

Kick off at 5:30pm GMT on Saturday, 6 December 2025

There is a reduced schedule of seven fixtures in the National League this Saturday as five fifth-tier teams compete in the FA Cup second round.

Scunthorpe United must turn around their recent poor run of form if they want to keep pace with league leaders Rochdale.

The Iron’s latest defeat, a 4-2 loss away at Altrincham, means that they are without a league win in their last three.

Andy Butler’s side sit sixth in the table, but are now nine points adrift of The Dale, who have a game in hand on Scunthorpe.

As for Tamworth, they put in a valiant effort against promotion-chasing Carlisle United, only to fall to a narrow 2-1 defeat.

Their latest loss means they are 12th in the table, with only one win in their last six league games.
