■ JERSEY BULLS stay in striking distance of the play-off places after a victory at Crowborough.
The visitors had to work hard to secure their three points against hosts who never accepted defeat.
After a strong start, Jersey opened the scoring in the 18th minute as Jay Giles’ well-timed ball over the top found Adam Trotter and he made no mistake, firing past Charlie Holmwood.
The visitors then doubled their lead when a ball into the box by Miguel Carvalho deflected in off an Athletic defender.
