OXFORD CITY secured back-to-back wins to boost their survival hopes as they beat Chorley.
While the first half proved competitive, there were few chances and neither keeper was really troubled.
Josh Ashby’s free-kick was as close as the Hoops got as Matt Urwin was forced into a smart save down, while Max Wilson’s stinging shot had Max Metcalfe worried as it flew wide.
After the break, two moments inside the first 15 minutes of the half turned the game in the Hoops’ favour.
