The National League title race comes down to this. League leaders York City travel to the Crown Oil Arena to face Rochdale on the final day of the season, with the pair separated by just two points.

York were on the brink of securing automatic promotion last weekend after beating Yeovil Town, but Mani Dieseruvwe’s 99th-minute winner at Braintree Town kept Dale in the race for a spot in the Football League next season.

The loser of that titanic clash will enter the play-offs alongside Carlisle United, Boreham Wood, Scunthorpe United, Southend United and Forest Green Rovers, with the latter two fighting it out to see who can finish in sixth place.

Step 2

The race for the title is equally as thrilling at Step 2, as AFC Fylde and South Shields go down to the wire for the National League North title.

Current leaders, Fylde, who sit on 97 points, travel to Merthyr Town, who are aiming to break into the play-offs, while South Shields, who sit two points behind the Coasters on 95, are away at third-placed Kidderminster Harriers.

At the bottom of the table, Hereford’s 2-1 win against Marine on Tuesday puts them out of the drop zone on goal difference with 51 points.

King’s Lynn Town are above on the same points but with a better goal difference, while Curzon Ashton, who are also on 51 points, moved into the relegation zone on goal difference.

Curzon travel to face Alfreton Town, who are also in the mix on 49 points.

In the National League South, the title battle is between Worthing and Hornchurch, who are separated by just a point, on 81 and 80 points, respectively.

Both sides will enjoy home advantage, with Worthing hosting Ebbsfleet United, who will be aiming to stay in the play-offs, while Hornchurch welcomes Maidenhead United, who could break into the top seven with a victory at the Hornchurch Stadium.

The play-off race could take plenty of twists and turns, with nine teams being separated by four points from third place down.

Step 3 & below

Further down the pyramid, the Northern Premier League Premier Division trophy will be heading to either Hebburn Town or Hednesford Town.

The pair both sit on 76 points, with the Hornets boasting a slightly better goal difference.

At Step 4, Anstey Nomads and Carlton Town are separated by two points in the NPL Midlands race, and the case is the same in the West Division, as Bury could be pipped for the title should they lose to Atherton Collieries and Avro beat Darlaston Town.
