There's really no surprise someone of Jack Pearce’s ilk collecting an NGA for Lifetime Achievement – the only surprise is he hasn’t been recognised before.
Indeed, there aren’t many honours or accolades in the game that the 86-year-old hasn’t picked up over a long-standing association spanning well over half a century.
