MARK Dacey says he has been inspired to chase his own dreams by the astonishing rise of his old pal Calum McFarlane.

Six years ago, McFarlane quit his role as assistant to Harry Hudson at Isthmian South East side Whyteleafe to take up a dream job with Manchester City’s academy.
Last summer, after two years at Southampton, he joined Chelsea as Under-21s manager and was twice promoted to interim head coach following the dismissals of Enzo Maresca and then Liam Rosenior.
