EESA Sawyers created one and scored the other as Nuneaton came from behind to kick off pre-season in style.
The wideman swiftly got involved as one of Boro’s nine half-time changes, finding on-trial Osazuwa Bello, a striker who came through the ranks at Tamworth, to adjust well and turn inside Jake Weaver’s near post two minutes into the second half.
Bradley Stretton then drove in from the right and spread to Sawyers to step in from the left to effortlessly bend the winner inside the far post with 13 minutes to play.
