As the 2026/27 National League season draws closer, supporters can look forward to wall-to-wall live coverage throughout the opening month of the campaign.

Every National League fixture in August 2026 will be shown live on DAZN, with all five rounds of matches available to watch, including the opening weekend on Saturday, August 8.

Every National League game live in August

Every National League fixture across the opening month of the 2026/27 season will be shown live on DAZN, giving supporters the chance to watch all 60 matches across the competition’s first five rounds.

That includes the opening weekend on Saturday, August 8, the second round exactly a week later, the August 22 programme, the rescheduled Friday night fixtures on August 28 and the Bank Holiday round on Monday, August 31.

Why have some August kick-off times changed?

To accommodate live coverage of every fixture, several matchdays have been adjusted.

The opening two Saturdays of the season will retain traditional 3pm kick-offs as no blackout restrictions are in place.

However, all fixtures on Saturday, August 22 will kick off at 12.30pm, while the scheduled Saturday, August 29 programme has been moved forward to Friday, August 28 at 7.45pm.

The Bank Holiday fixtures on Monday, August 31 will all kick off at 3pm and be broadcast live.

What changes after August?

When the regular Saturday 3pm blackout is in full force, DAZN will show at least four live National League matches.

Coverage will include a regular Friday night fixture (7.45pm), two Saturday lunchtime matches (12.30pm) and one late Saturday kick-off (5.30pm), with the remaining fixtures available on demand after the blackout period.

When are the TV fixtures confirmed until?

Following feedback from supporters and clubs last season, DAZN and the National League have confirmed all fixture changes through to the end of January.

Live broadcast selections for the remainder of the campaign will then be announced around five weeks before each matchday.

Will National League North and South games be shown?

Yes. DAZN will show selected National League North and National League South fixtures during the season, with the sports streaming platform and the National League set to reveal the chosen matches in due course.

These games typically come from midweek rounds or weekends unaffected by the Saturday blackout, meaning clubs generally do not need to change their scheduled kick-off times.

Can overseas fans watch every National League game?

Yes. While UK broadcasting is subject to Saturday blackout regulations, international viewers can stream every National League fixture live throughout the 2026/27 season via DAZN.

What are the opening day eye-catching fixtures?

With pre-season in full swing and transfer deals still being completed across the division, there is plenty left to discover about which clubs will emerge as promotion contenders and who could find themselves battling to avoid the drop.

Even so, the opening weekend already offers several intriguing contests.

Carlisle United begin their bid for a return to the Football League at the second time of asking by welcoming newly-promoted Worthing to Brunton Park, with new boss Rob Elliot looking to set the tone early in his reign.

Elsewhere, another of the division’s title favourites, Hartlepool United, host relegated side Barrow, now managed by Adam Murray, who guided Kidderminster Harriers to promotion last season before making the switch to Cumbria.

The Bluebirds will hope for a quickfire return to the EFL and Murray’s former side, Kiddy, will begin life back in the National League under new manager Paul Wotton with a trip to fellow promoted club Hornchurch.

Both sides will be looking to make a winning start after earning promotion last season, with the Urchins preparing for their first-ever campaign at National League level.
