NEW boys Bovindon won their opening game at Step 6 when a Ben Baldwin first-half hat-trick, including a penalty, gave them a 3-0 home win over Edgware & Kingsbury, who finished bottom of Premier North last year.
Maidenhead Town, playing their first game at Step 6, beat visitors Westside 3-1 with Harry Combe, Ryan Hennessey and Jack McKenzie finding the back of the net with Ahmed Abdulbagy hitting home the first-half equaliser.
