ADAM Murray’s Barrow continued their preparation for the new season with an impressive victory over League One Blackpool.
The fixture marked the anniversary of the Bluebirds’ first-ever professional game, which came against the Seasiders back in 1901.
Rekeem Harper opened the scoring in the first half before Innes Cameron doubled the lead after the break.
A couple of early opportunities went the way of Blackpool’s Niall Ennis, with one shot clipping the top of the crossbar and the other being pulled wide.
