Paul Hurst has experienced enough pre-seasons to know he won’t have all the answers come kick-off on August 8 – but the Boston United boss is also looking forward to having more problems to solve.
The 51-year-old – who has managed Grimsby Town to promotion into the EFL twice as well as FA Trophy glory – came back to the Pilgrims in January with the team winless in five and three points above the National League relegation zone. It was a return after 15 years to the club he and then joint-boss Rob Scott had led to NPL Premier League glory back in 2010.
