■HITCHIN gained a valuable point against unbeaten Kettering despite finishing with nine men. Trailing 1-0, it looked bleak for Hitchin when Blue Joy was sent off for a second yellow card in the 75th minute but they showed their resilience and in the 84th minute substitute Diogo Freitas-Gouveia was brought down in the penalty area by Tom Leak. A penalty was awarded and Freitas-Gouveia smashed the penalty home.
