■ CONGLETON Town eased into the next round of the FA Trophy as they defeated league rivals Atherton Collieries.
Dylan Scott got his first goal in Congleton colours after 11 minutes when he fired home after a free-kick bounced to him inside the area. The hosts doubled their lead just two minutes later when Kieran Knapper latched onto the ball after a mistake from the visitors’ defence. He was allowed to drive into the area before slotting home.
