An even first period saw few clear chances, with Boney called into action on 43 minutes with a smart save from a Dylan Dwyer strike which took a wicked deflection.
The game came into life in the 55th minute when Lewis produced a fine diving header to convert from Jake Cain’s dan-the final minute.
TWO second-half goals gave Morecambe victory over National League North rivals Southport at the Halo Aerospace Stadium.
