CHESTERFIELD youngster Jack Broadhead says he’s keen to extend his loan stay at Buxton.

The centre-back joined the Bucks on a one-month deal on the first day of the Northern Premier League Premier Division campaign but is currently sidelined with an ankle injury.

Jack BroadheadHe doesn’t expect to feature much for his parent club this term so would be more than happy to remain at the Silverlands.

Speaking to the Buxton Advertiser, the 18-year-old said: “We’ll have to see what happens but I’d like to stay.

“To be honest I don’t think I’m going to get much time at Chesterfield this season as they’re pushing for promotion and it’s hard for someone my age to push through to the first-team when it’s like that.

“I get on well with all the lads and they’re a good bunch of winners.”
