Player of the Round Goes To Gloucester City Youngster

Gloucester City teenager Joe Parker has won the Player of the Round award for FA Cup Third Round Qualifying.

GLOUCESTER CITY teenager Joe Parker has won the Player of the Round award for FA Cup Third Round Qualifying.

The 18-year-old frontman scored a hat-trick in 20 minutes to help his side to a 7-0 victory over Yate Town.

His feat was all the more impressive as it was only his second senior appearance for the club.

Parker’s treble saw him beat Ebbsfleet United’s Ben May, Weymouth’s Stewart Yetton, Hampton & Richmond attacker Charlie Moone and Marske United striker Andy Jennings to the coveted prize.
