MID-TABLE Skrill Premier side FC Halifax Town have signed Joe Ironside on loan from Sheffield United.
The 20-year-old has featured six times for the Blades this season, twice in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy and four times in League One.

Four of those appearances were as a substitute so the striker – son of former Middlesbrough goalkeeper Ian Ironside – has dropped down two divisions for more regular first-team football.
Ironside will be part of the Shaymen’s squad that takes on Hyde on Tuesday evening.
