HIGHLY-RATED young goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne has extended his loan spell at North club .

The 18-year-old stopper has impressed during his brief stint with the Trawlerboys and has agreed to a one-month extension.

The 6ft 5ins youngster, who signed a two-year professional deal with Championship club Wolves in the summer, has already picked up two man-of-the-match awards.

Burgoyne said: “I have enjoyed working with Ady (Gallagher, manager); along with his management team and the players at Lowestoft, so when the opportunity came about to extend my loan it didn’t require much persuasion.

“While I knew that it (going out on loan) was never going to be a walk in the park at Lowestoft, I was obviously keen to give a good account of myself.

“As a young goalkeeper, you can’t beat playing first team to help you to push on with your career.  I’m grateful, therefore, that Ady has given me that opportunity; and while some results have narrowly gone against us, I can see that Ady has the nucleus of a very good side, which feels great to be part of.”

The Trawlerboys, meanwhile, have announced the departures of three players. Dan Gleeson has moved to , keeper Marcus Garnham has been released and Scott Mitchell has left due to work commitments.
