WORKINGTON are set to sign Morecambe winger Joe Mwasile on loan for three months.
The 19-year-old, who hails from Zambia, has seven substitute appearances for the Shrimps to his name but is yet to make a start for the League Two club.
Shrimps boss Jim Bentley feels an extended spell at Borough Park will prove invaluable for the teenager’s development.
Speaking to the club’s website, he said: “Joe has played a lot of football in the Reserves and done well but he needs to be playing every Saturday now in a fully competitive league in front of decent crowds to take the next step in is career.
“Workington are a good club and he will learn a lot from the move.”
