boss Neil Young has agreed to cancel the contract of Sean Clancy, while also allowing Luke Denson to join Colwyn Bay on loan.

Clancy joined the Blues earlier this year after leaving reigning Conference Premier champions Fleetwood Town.

The 25-year-old midfielder has found first-team opportunities limited of late and was eager to make a fresh start elsewhere.

Speaking about the former Blackpool, , and man, Young said: “I have mutually agreed to cancel Sean’s contract.

“Sean is another player who recently has not been involved and wants to be playing regularly.

“With this and the need to reduce the squad numbers it was jointly agreed to cancel Sean’s contract. I’d like to thank Sean for his commitment and attitude since he arrived at .”

Defender Denson arrived at the Exacta Stadium from Colwyn Bay earlier this year and has now rejoined them on a deal running until the end of the season.

Commenting on the loan move, Young said: “Luke has been unlucky as he sustained his injury at Cheadle and since has not been that involved due to the impressive form of Wes Baynes.

“Luke is just desperate to play and that’s why he has rejoined Colwyn Bay. Luke’s commitment and attitude has also been first class since he’s been at the Club” said the Blues boss.
