HISTON Under-19 captain Jack Uttridge has penned a youth contract with League One side Brentford.
The 18-year-old defender remains registered with Histon and can play for them should he be needed before the end of the season.
Uttridge is expected to sign a first-year professional deal with the Bees in the summer and Histon assistant manager Brian Page says he has earned his chance at Griffin Park.

“It’s great for the other lads to see him get his chance at a pro club and is a real advertisement for what we are doing here with regard to developing young players.
“Brentford have agreed to send a team down to play us in pre-season and I’m talking to them about one or two other things that they could help us with so it’s a good deal for all concerned.”
