BRIAN PAGE has been confirmed as the permanent manager of Conference North club Histon.
Page joined the club’s managerial team in December, working alongside interim boss Nacer Relizani.
Relizani has relinquished that role to concentrate on business interests outside of football and Page has now stepped up to fill the vacant role on a permanent basis.
Speaking about his appointment, Page, above, said: “I’m delighted to have reached an agreement with the board and to have committed my future to this football club.
“The progress we have made in recent months has been great to be a part of and I’m really looking forward to taking it on further.”
Relizani, who will continue to work with the Histon board in an advisory capacity, commented: “I stepped into the role of Manager to help out when Dennis Greene left and the time is right now for Brian to take things forward from here. “It has been a real pleasure working with him and the rest of the staff and players, they are a great group and I know that they can go on and achieve a lot together. I’ll still be around the club and will help out wherever I can.”
