IAN DOSSER has taken over as chairman of Conference North club AFC Telford United.
Dosser has been finance director at the New Bucks Head since the club's inception in 2004 and has now stepped up to take over the chairmanship from chief executive Lee Carter.
Speaking about his new role, Dosser said: “It's a great honour to be asked to be chairman of AFC Telford. It is a fantastic football club, it is a fantastic model of supporters ownership.”
And commenting on his predecessor, Dosser added: “Lee and I have worked together for nine years very successfully. As MD he remains the man that is in day-to-day charge and I will be operating at the more strategic level.”
“He has been chairman and MD through a fantastically successful period for the club and we should thank him very much for that.”
