BATH CITY’S latest signing, Jordan Rugg, tasted defeat on his first appearance for the club as the Romans went down 2-1 at Truro City on Tuesday night.
Rugg, 21, joined City ahead of Tuesday night’s fixture down in Cornwall and was thrust straight into the starting line up in place of injury frontman Charlie Griffin.
However, the former Wigan Athletic reserve team striker was unable to fire his new side to victory against a Truro side playing in what might prove to be their final competitive fixture.
The defeat sees Bath drop down to 17th in the Blue Square Bet South, while Truro remain bottom on one point following the ten-point penalty they were hit with last month.
