chairman Peter Masters has revealed the club will go full-time next season if they win promotion to ‘s top flight.

The White Tigers beat play-off rivals 3-0 on Tuesday night to strengthen their position in fourth and they still have games in hand.

The club announced two weeks ago that they have installed a 250-seat covered stand to allow them to contest the play-offs and they will remain at Treyew Road next season while their new Silver Bow home is built.

It comes 12 months after the Cornish outfit won promotion through the Southern Premier play-offs and now Masters has said the club would move to a full-time model to compete in the despite it “doubling” their playing budget.

“If we do happen to get promoted, then National League will mean full-time ,” Masters told BBC Radio Cornwall.

“That comes with its own problems financially as well as we’re talking about doubling up on the budget, but we’ll see where that takes us.

“We did it last season against all the odds. If you watch the players, the momentum’s building, the teamwork’s building, they’ve got a great atmosphere in they dressing room and the players are really going for it.”
