Truro City Hit By Ten-Point Deduction

have had ten points deducted from their Blue Square Bet South tally in accordance with Conference rules.

An adminstrator was appointed at the Cornish club on Tuesday of this week and the ten-point penalty was subsequently enforced by the Conference.

The penalty leaves the White Tigers bottom of the league on minus two points – a drop of 12 places from tenth.

Truro can appeal the deducted but only on the ground that the insolvency proceedings that have commenced at Treyew Road are as a result of a “Force Majeure” i.e. an event outside of their control.

Any appeal must be submitted within the next seven days.
