STRIKER Billy Bricknell says the fact he has worked with manager Steve Brown before was a big factor in him signing for Ebsfleet United.

The 24-year-old, who joins the Fleet after leaving Dover earlier this month, told the club’s website: “I had a few offers from other Conference South teams on the table but I chose Ebbsfleet due to the ambition they are showing to firstly get promotion straight back into the Conference Premier and then to climb into the League.

“Obviously my time already spent with Steve Brown at was a huge factor in joining and it’s a pleasure to be linking up with him again.”

The former Leyton, Billericay and Chelmsford frontman is also reunited with his former Dover strike partner and new Fleet signing, Ben May.
