Conference South New Boys Borrow From Blackburn

have signed Blackburn Rovers teenager Edinhho on loan for the first month of their debut season in the Conference South.

The 19-year-old has been at Blackburn since last summer when he joined them from Portuguese club S C Olhanense.

He has played just once for the Championship outfit but did spend time on loan with Indian League club Shillong Lajong last term, scoring twice in six games.

Speaking about the youngster’s arrival at the East Sussex club, manager Darren Freeman said: “I tried to get him towards the end of last season but there were a couple of clubs interested and I was just too late.

“However, I had it in the back of my mind that we could go back in for him.

“He can play a lot higher and we are delighted that Blackburn have allowed us to take him for a month. I would also like to thank the agent I have been talking with.
