Macclesfield Town sit top of the National League tree this Christmas after drawing at Bromley, on a day in which none of the top eight claimed three points.
Second-placed Wrexham were held at home by Dover Athletic while Aldershot Town rescued a point at Guiseley with a 94th minute equaliser.
Tranmere Rovers continued their climb up the table with an impressive 3-1 win at Sutton United. Andy Hessenthaler made an instant impact as manager of Eastleigh they won at high-flying Dagenham & Redbridge.
After being put up for sale in mid-week, Hartlepool United‘s woes continued with a home defeat by Maidenhead United.
Ady Pennock’s Barrow are now seven points clear of the drop following a win over Woking and there was good news for another one of their relegation rivals, Leyton Orient, who won at Maidstone United.
The same couldn’t be said for struggling Chester, though, they trailed FC Halifax Town 4-0 at half-time. Fortunately for the Blues, the scoreline didn’t get any worse.
Solihull Moors held Boreham Wood  to a stalemate while AFC Fylde scored late on to take a point at home to Ebbsfleet United.
