Aldershot Town stayed second with a draw against  while Sutton United moved level on points with the Shots by beating Dagenham & Redbridge in the early game on BT Sport.
At the bottom,  and Torquay United both suffered heavy defeats while  closed the gap on survival with a win over , who remain in freefall.
