The Non-League Paper’s National League Team of the Day

Wrexham moved top of the National League with a win at Guiseley which in turn sent Paul Cox’s team rock bottom.

Goals from Chris Holroyd and Shaun Pearson helped the Dragons take full advantage of Macclesfield’s day off.

A 3-0 victory for Tranmere Rovers over Ebbsfleet United saw Micky Mellon’s side climb up to fourth and just two points behind the leaders.

There was joy for struggling Torquay United, who beat relegation rivals Barrow to move off the foot of the table.

AFC Fylde and Eastleigh, two of the division’s in-form sides, drew 2-2 in a thriller.
