The Non-League Football Show Podcast – April 12, 2019

Non-League Show

Tim Fuell goes solo as he talks to three managers in different states of securing their respective titles.
First up, Mark Molesley who after suffering play-off heartbreak last season with Weymouth this season looks set to make sure of promotion by sitting top of the Southern League Premier South with a handful of games to go.
Looking for back to back promotions is Glenn Howes manager at Blackfield & Langley. After winning the Wessex League last season, they have continued their strong form and currently narrowly lead the Southern League Division One South and travel to second placed Yate Town this weekend.
Jason Shaw has already secured the Spartan League Division One title at Step 6 with Harefield United this season but with five games still to play, they still have much to play for. With only two away draws, no defeats and the rest league wins this season, they have the chance to go unbeaten and it’s something all at the club know would be a pretty special achievement.
David Richardson, online editor of The Non-League Paper, provides a round-up of the National League, National North and National South which are set to become the closest divisions in the Non-League pyramid.

‘I am The Secret Footballer’ – Dave Kitson ends football’s longest guessing game

For years, football fans played detective. Every new “Secret Footballer” column dropped like a clue. The voice was too inside to be a journalist. Too sharp to be a club statement. Too honest to be anyone with a contract still to protect. Now the guessing is over...
