National Game Awards 2018/19 in association with Buildbase: Brandon Hire Step 3/4 Player of the Year

National Game Awards

Promotions are starting to be confirmed and the play-off picture is beginning to get clearer – Steps 3 & 4 have been as gripping as ever.

The players have provided the entertainment on the pitch, and now we need your help to recognise the stand-out star.

Brandon Hire is back again sponsoring this season’s Step 3/4 Player of the Year at our National Game Awards, in association with Buildbase.

The winner will be presented with their prize at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, May 14th, as we celebrate another thrilling campaign.

There are a lot of players in contention, so here are just a few suggestions.

Weymouth’s Brandon Goodship has once again found himself on the goal trial, netting an impressive 36 times to spearhead another Terras promotion push in the Southern League South.

Meanwhile, in the Bostik Premier League, the performances of players such as Jason Prior have already helped Dorking Wanderers to canter to the title.

Prior has won plenty of rave reviews since making the move to Step 3 after firing Havant & Waterlooville to the National League on last season’s final day.

Up in the Evo-Stik NPL, Farsley Celtic’s Jimmy Spencer won the league’s Player of the Year award for his superb performances in helping the West Yorkshire side reach the league’s summit. While, at the other end of the table, Ali Waddecar’s goals have boosted Bamber Bridge’s hopes of remaining in the division.

Remember, this isn’t a final list, but some suggestions to get you thinking. The only way your favourite will win is if you vote. So get your thinking cap on, tell your friends and let us know.

Last year’s winner, Jordan Hulme, picked up the award after playing a leading role in helping Altrincham return to the National League North. The 27-year-old front man found the net 31 times in all competitions last season as The Robins marched towards success.
